014 Graphic Design Exhibition
014 Graphic Design Exhibition is an annual graduation show from Raffles Design Institute Shanghai. In 2016, 014 is chosen as the title of the show as it represents the entrance year of the graduate students. The show also presents six young and innovative designers of Raffles Design Institute, Shanghai. The exhibition featuring more than fifty works created for two years with an immense amount of dedication and commitment for every single of the works.
CONCEPT
As designers, we are a creative problem solver; we create ideas, play with ideas and sometimes the idea works, sometimes it does not work and so, the creative process will repeat itself again. The concept of 014 is a message that designers never be afraid to fail again and again while also repeating the creative process again, it will end differently each time.
This idea is to represent a pattern that is created from Play Doh that shows not only the diversity of ideas but also creative people that are different and exceptional. One is not the same with others. Embrace the processes, the failure, the result and if fail, do everything all over again.
